Is registration FREE on Romaniandate.com ?
Yes it is FREE :) By registering you become a STANDARD member. You can choose to remain a Standard member indefinitely. You will not be charged for being a Standard member however you will be limited in using other site's features.
Briefly, if you want to be "discovered" without any action from your part, you can keep your STANDARD membership status indefinitely.
You can however upgrade your membership to PREMIUM at any time or buy credits to be able to contact other members.

I am a STANDARD member. Can I send messages to other members ?
Yes you can, by buying CREDITS. You can purchase credits and stay a Standard member. Your credits will be debited from your credits account each time you send a message to another member. This is a pay-as-you go option. In this way you do not need to buy a PREMIUM membership which would unlock the unlimited message sending feature.
What FREE actions am I allowed to perform as a STANDARD member ?
As a Standard member you are allowed to :
Search Profiles - (limited number of searches per day)
View Profiles - (limited number of views per day)
View Photos - (unlimited views inside the allowed view quota)
View Galleries - (unlimited views inside the allowed view quota)

Why is the Standard membership level so restricted in actions?
The concept of our website is that it is more a "marriage agency" than a "dating and flirting" site. It was built with the thought in mind that Romanian individuals meet persons outside Romania who are willing to start a relationship based on love and respect.
I am a VISITOR. What am I entitled to do?
As a simple visitor (non-registered member) you can see the listed profiles on the home page and perform a search. You cannot see photos but merely the thumbnail of the main photo. Certain fields are only available for registered users. Please register for FREE on our website.
How much do credits cost and how does it work ?
- Credits are a "Romaniandate.com currency" converted from money. The minimum credits purchase is 20 credits at a cost of 5$ which means each credit costs 25 cents.
- The maximum credits purchase is 520 at a cost of 130$
- Each message you send will debit your credits account for 4 credits for as long as you stay a Standard member
- Being said that credits are as good as money, if you choose to buy a PREMIUM membership after buying credits, you can use your credits to buy it.
How much does the PREMIUM membership cost and how does it work ?
Premium membership costs as follows:
- 15$ - for one (1) month
- 40$ - for three (3) months
- 70$ - for six (6) months
- 130$ - for one (1) year
What is the payment currency: Euros or USD ?
The payment currency is $ USD (United States Dollars).
If you pay through Paypal, it will be automatically converted to USD.

Can I give out my email address or phone number in a message to another member ?
Of course YOU CAN. We even encourage you to do so. You pay for what you want to get so feel free to give out your coordinates (email, telephone number or messenger ID) to the members you contact
How many photos can I add to my profile ?
You can add up to 5 photos to your profile. Size doesn't matter because every photo will be automatically resized to 250 X 250 pixels by our system. We encourage you to add relevant photos that show your person clearly and realistically. Photos are pending approval by admin therefore every photo that we consider not to be adequate will not be approved.
In addition to the 5 main photos of your profile, you can create a gallery containing up to 20 more photos. Please read the next topic about galleries.

What is a photo gallery and how does it work ?
The gallery is an additional recipient for more photos in your profile.
You can add up to 4 albums in your gallery naming them differently based on different events.
Each album can contain up to 5 photos.
As for the main photos, size doesn't matter as they will be automatically resized to 250 X 250 pixels.

Why am I not able to see the photos in a user's gallery ?
If you know for sure that the user has at least an album in his gallery and he/she has pictures in the album and you don't see them, it is because he/she has marked them "FOR FRIENDS ONLY" instead of "PUBLIC".
In this case you have to add this user as a FRIEND by using the "Friend Member" link while viewing his profile. A request will be sent to him and if he accepts your request, you will be notified and the gallery photos will be automatically available to you for viewing.

What are private photos and how does it work ?
When you add a photo to your profile (not to the gallery) you have the option of putting a checkmark in the checkbox saying "Private" thus making this photo private for viewing.
In addition to just marking it "Private", you will have to edit your profile and specify a password in the "Private photos password" field.
When a user wants to view your private photos, he will have the ability to send you a request which you will receive by email or see it in your "Communicator". If you accept the request, he will obtain your private photos password and they will be available for viewing.

How can I suspend or completely cancel my account ?
You can suspend your account at any time and it will not be viewable anymore by anyone. You just have to click on the link "Suspend account" in your Profile Edit page at the top, below your profile status. Of course, you can re-enable it whenever you want.
